looks like on chart... 5-6 months to R 1 not bad. Althought other bases are 3-4 months, really not that much difference, for my benefit of living closed to base I think

PSA puts you up in the clarion filled with bedbugs... then they wash out up to 1/3 at sims because they don't have sim capacity....(too bad so sad...)

Air Wisconsin puts you in a Radisson, you can have Sunday seafood brunch with a chocolate fountain, and, they know what they are doing and treat their pilots with respect. No brainer

I have EEPP on my personal and company iPad. It is a great resource, but it is very abbreviated. Just facts with no fluff. Sometimes, when you learn something, the fluff is helpful. Then, review from EEPP
You're right it's more expensive than the other resources, but have you seen what our new FOs are making these days?

One of the nice features of EEPP is all the references to the FARs, AIM, ACs, etc, that he puts next to everything. Makes finding it all a lot easier.

Nothing in that sentence is true.

Golly, gee whiz! A chocolate fountain!?!?!?! And I'd get to wear one of those totally awesome airline pilot hats, that they're all required to wear???? Jeepers, that's neat-oh!

Maybe that's why some of the Air Willy guys look the way that they look.

Don't forget that the data on that chart is from date of hire, so with most people taking about 3 months from start to completion of IOE, you're looking at a very minimal reserve time no matter what.

- No more Clarion.

- Since October of last year we've hired 242 pilots. Only 29 of those are no longer on property.

- Getting a Radisson and Sunday Seafood Brunch with a Chocolate Fountain doesn't replace living in base, or knowing in advance what your reserve times are to a very commutable base.

- Up your troll game.

In my class of 31 6 washed out and they were legitimately struggling after 2 to 4 extra sim sessions. This claim of washing out people at will because of limited availability is looooodacris! Keep drinking that whiskey-aid buddy

I guess you can't tell an unbolded sentence from a bolded one.

Might also explain why you're no longer at PSA. You pay back that 15K yet?

FYI, in your class there were 24 new hires, with 4 no longer on property. That's exactly half the percentage you claim they're washing out.
