another question if i may. for people taking the atp-ctp course, I'm sure a 7 day course isn't exactly the most thorough on having you ready for the written. Does PSA include any at home study stuff? Ive heard of some places providing, or reimbursing for things like sheppard air and what not. What would you recommend?
Sheppard is the way to go.
You will complete 7 days of course, then take the written exam on the next day. Once you pass the written, you are flown home for a few days off and then start the FO Ground School the following Monday.

The ATP-CTP course does not prepare you to take the written. That is how the course is designed by the FAA. All of the studying for the ATP-CTP written is done on your own.

(I am pretty sure that is how it works. I'll let you know if that changes.)

I just sent an email to the HR person that sends the emails out to confirm, but I am pretty sure that we do not send out study material. You are responsible for the written test, we just provide the course for free that allows you to take the written test.

If you didn't even get the study materials, you wouldn't be behind at all.
There is plenty to study and review on your own that is far more important. Review the FARs, review instrument procedures, review weather. The limitations and memory items are just a small piece of what you should be reviewing.
