So how many new hire classs per month are we running now and how many pilots have been in those most recent classes?
Still filling 2 classes of 25 pilots every month? I've seen sim instructors out flying the line. That suggests that the training department may not be as busy as Psa Help would have us believe.

Or, you could look at the seniority list, and see that the 5/22 class had 29 names, and the 5/8 class had 22. That was 51 new hires in May. There are also 48 new hires listed that started in April that are on the list, and undoubtably a few have already washed out, so it looks like April was about 25 per class as well.
The ATP-CTP classes are also back logged until August, according to the instructors in CVG, with 14 per class.
The guy that teaches the ATP-CTP class in CVG told us about 2 days ago that PSA is going to have to start using an outside company (FlightSafety or CAE...wasn't sure which one we were going to end up with) to help with ATP-CTP because they are so backlogged with those. Someone hired today may have to wait 3 months for ATP-CTP class, and that is way too long. The sims are full with new hires, and they don't want training delays for new hires, so half of the ATP-CTP are going to have to go to an outside company. PSA can handle 14 at a time, but we need a lot more than that.

5/8 class had 22...5/22 class has 32 in it. Only limiting factor is simulator availability. The class with 32 may have a back log. RTP program seems to be filling its slots as well.

Lots of data on www.bluestreaklounge.com if you're a PSA pilot.

January. April and May should be two each. The only reason we run three classes in a month is if the every other monday start dates happen to occur three times in a month. May could've had three classes had those start dates been the 1st, 15th, and 29th, but instead we had classes on the 8th and 22nd.
