This is not a primary factor, I am just curious about their principle retirement program.
401K:

Years. Company Contribute. Company Match

6mos-5yrs: 1.5% of compensation 50% of 2%

5-7: 2% of compensation 50% of 4%

7-10: 2.5% of compensation. 50% of 8%

10+: 3.5 % of compensation 75% of 8%

401K Matching: Yes

As listed from the company information page of this website

Try looking at aerocrenews.us for a table that compares the different airlines in many different aspects.

Yes, PSA is an airline I could see myself at long term.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and answer my questions.
Over the next six years there are 5000+ mandatory retirements at American Main Line. Right now there are ~4000 pilots at all the WOs combined (~ Envoy: 2000, PSA: 1400, Piedmont: 600). American says they are committed to bringing 50% of their new hires up through the flow, so of 4000 WO pilots, at least 2500 should go to American, just to cover mandatory retirement (5/8ths of current WO pilots). Envoys special agreement is winding down and then i think all three come under the same flow agreement (don't quote me, but somewhere around 5/mo + 1/mo for each 150 pilots over 425). The 6-6.5 year flow is certainly feasible, if the hiring and training pace can be maintained. :nerd:

Both ENY and PDT have better (read: higher percentage of the pilot group) flow agreements than hours. While it's true that flow time for a new hire at PSA is similar to PDT and ENY, that's driven by outside attrition as much as the flow.

One wonders if they just upped the flow if attrition would slow down......

If the flow was around 3-4 years I think a lot of people would just stay put. 1.2-2 years as an FO the rest as a captain then to mainline to actually make a great living being a pilot. Ive heard from a few mainline guys to apply outside of the flow because the flow allows them to try and control the numbers at the WO feeders. If Flow time were to drop I think retention would be higher. Still its a nice fall back plan if all else fails.

I just Googled CRJ limitations PSA and found that a bunch of others have already created digital study material. Anyone else have any resources available?? Class date fast approaching. Just trying to get ahead of the game here.

Make sure that what you are studying is correct. Don't learn incorrect info first. There are some good study guides online (I made a set if digital flash cards for initial, recurrent, and upgrade that are good, and they are shared online with my friends), but if things change, I am not always quick to change the flash cards.

And limitations do change. I think windshield heat has changed 3 times in 3 years.

They will send you the limitations you need to study in an email. If your class date is within a week and you don't have them yet, send them an email.

What's PSA policy during checkrides? Is it AQP or PC type ride? Are you supposed to get a qualified seat fill?

Initial is PC right now and recurrent is AQP. Qualified seat fill not required and is generally your sim partner for initial.
