The V-Sim is a GREAT learning tool that most people don't spend enough time with. It is a virtual simulator that has a fully functional cockpit. Flip a switch, and everything happens just like it would in the real airplane.

This SAP thing sounds awesome!! On another note, am I understanding it correctly that a year 2 FO will bring home less money than he did the year before, due to signing bonus being larger than retention bonus?

They give you an iPad with the Aerosim Ethos app on it, you can get into the Cockpit Familiarization module and touching any switch will bring up a description of the what it does and also gives you a spot to takes notes.
