Interviewing with PSA soon (already offered the job at Envoy) and I'm curious to know what are the chances of getting CLT based as a newly hired FO? I'm moving to CLT regardless of which company/base I get and would prefer not to commute

Welcome to this thread! It is a relatively short one as it was just started over. I believe there is information in the first few pages that will answer your question. Once you read over that, if there is anything more specific I am sure someone will be glad to answer for you.

New hires are getting any base of their choosing at this point. Classes of ~25 and upgrade classes of 12-14 every 2 weeks.

Plus attrition of 30 per month.

Lots of movement.

Some of the guys in the 2/13 class did not get their first choice on the first bid award but they did by the second.

Yes. You will likely get 2 or 3 base bids by the time that you finish sims. So, the first base that you actually have to report to is the base of your choosing. You may get DAY initially, but then 2 weeks later, you will get CLT.

By the time you finish training, you can have any base that you choose.

Thanks, I'll be moving to charlotte regardless of the airline I go to and I've been told living in base beats commuting so assuming I get the job with PSA I should definitely take it for the CLT Base

Because everyone is leaving as fast as they can. People upgraded out of seniority around that time, therefore, it will appear to drop for a couple months. Once the DECs seniority comes around, it'll be slow again as everyone after them are FOs.

Love all you keyboard warriors too by the way. Keep it up. It's entertaining me.
