Default Heading to work

Anyone else have issues issuing the boarding pass off of the travel planner page?

hello! I'm trying to decide between PSA and Skywest. Any recommendations on future growth/stability? Bases dont mean as much to me as I'm willing to relocate to where the flying is at. Any word on new contract for pay in the works? Thanks

Without a doubt, PSA. Working for a AA WO carrier gives you AA in your back pocket if attempts to get hired elsewhere don't work out. Working for SkyWest means that AA would be that much harder to get hired at, as getting hired off the street is exceedingly difficult apparently. The other advantage to the flow is gauranteed seniority movement each month, in addition to the outside attrition, which was considerable last month. SkyWest apparently doesn't pay as much as we do, but honestly I haven't been keeping track. They do have some of that sweet under wing auto throttle engine time, so there is that......

I guess I need to ask, do PHL, DCA, ORF, CLT, DAY, and CVG sound like places you want to live in comparison to Skywest bases? Two, for right now, line holders get SAP which is the best thing since slice bread. We have a flow that guarantees movement. PSA is Union vs Skywest non-union, which gives Skywest the ability to change things on the whim.

Personally, I'll choose PSA over Skywest but I am biased.

PSA over Skywest for sure.

AA is investing more flying into the WOs. Without the flow, most pure civilian background pilots have a low chance at getting to AA and flow means career advancement to get your apps out everywhere else.

Default Careful decision making flyhere421

Invest your $5000 referral bonus money wisely. Doing what appears to be best for you might be financially motivated by others.

APC profile says PSA mins are 1300TT. Are they giving away 200 hours?

I believe that’s for submitting an application. CJO is good for 6 months and they assume you can get the last 200 in that amount of time.

I have an interview coming up. I was told that I would need 1475 before class and the last 25 would be accomplished at class.

I think he meant PBS...we already have a vendor for SAP

BTW - Can we all quit the "SAP is dead" attitudes. Ever heard of a self-fulfilling prophecy? If everyone believes it to be as good as dead, then they will give it up for nothing in return...
