Typical union group think, only worried about captains. I'am sure with all the FOs that upgraded this year thanksgiving got passed around multiple times and went surprisingly junior, possibly with captains too if the flows could have held it. Earlier I referenced bidding it a year prior, but it applies to anyone who holds it.

Also, you will typically spend 18 months as an FO (much less if you already have 121 time). Buy you could spend a few years as a captain. So, if you had to choose which should have better things, wouldn't it be captain? CA's being released with pay if they are displaced is HUGE.
There are dozens of people that are FO's and bypassing upgrade for QOL issues. If some of those issues were fixed on the CA side, that would benefit a lot of people on the list and people would want to upgrade.

FOs getting gains is fine by me but the company has put itself in a position with pay rates and bonuses that the jump in compensation from FO to CA is so small that it isn't worth the QoL loss to upgrade.

This is gonna come off as "crusty old dude" but FOs have it pretty damn good right now with the combination of money and SAP. I made a little under 21k my first year at PSA and had 10 days off per month with vey little trading ability.

I agree I’m an FO and don’t really want anything except for captains to get something. Maybe it would be nice to get rates instead of bonuses. But I plan on upgrading when the time comes and captain pay is unacceptable here right now for sitting ****ty reserve. Idk what that guy is complaining about.

I don’t know how to respond to this. It’s entirely inaccurate. Are your initials SP?
