In your case, AA (with flow) would be the best option. Are you former FAR 121 (US)? I think PSA and PDT are both good options but PDT will get you to the left seat quicker. The flow-- whatever they tell you can change from 5 years to......
In your case at 40, even if it took you 7 years (lets pick PDT) then you have 1 year as an F/O and 6 as a Captain. If/when you flow you will be 47 with 18 years at AA to go.
Since you want to move to base, then with PDT on the ERJ it's PHL.
PSA has a few other ones to choose and apparently has a good SAP option which everyone seems to really like. SAP is the ability to adjust your schedule for better QOL.
Generally all the AAG wholly owned regionals have pretty much the same compensation package (give or take).

Just talked to a friend who had his interview with PDT in November and he's sitting at home waiting while getting paid the minimum guaranteed.
Both PDT & PSA seem like great companies to start a career.

Based on your info... with receiving full guarantee and per diem, about how much actual net money is that during training... I am going on a shoestring in couple months so wondering how much that will be and how long before getting first check or direct deposit I guess. THANK YOU

You get 75 hours a month at $39, plus per diem 24/7. Per diem alone is $1200 a month during training.
Plus, you will get the sign on bonus as soon as you pass your check ride. Plus we pay for you to come to Dayton and put you in the hotel. You just pay for food, and there is a Walmart across the street.
You won't find much better in the regionals.
(If you aren't good at math, that is about $4k a month plus the bonus)

Training is Mon-Fri for initial ground school in DAY. Your continuous per diem will stop when they send you home between events (events being ground, oral, sims, IOE), so if you wait a week for sims at home no per diem, and if you wait a week to start IOE, no per diem then either. Thankfully there seems to be no backlog so most people finish training in about 2.5-3 months, and you may only get 10-14 days of official "breaks" which does not include weekends off in DAY or a couple of days off during the middle of sims.
