The reserve grid that I'm looking at has only 5 open trips over the first 4 days of September and 46 available reserves. ALL 4 DAYS ARE "AT MINUMUM RESERVES".

Management continue to play games with the reserve grid, despite the arbitrator's ruling.

I'm sure I'll be fine for INDOC. Hell, you made it through.
As I said previously, can't highlight on the phone so I isolated the key part. If you think that stops at indoc... Hahahaha...

Way to spit in the face of some one that was genuinely worried for you... And you are worried about OTHER people's negativity... SMH...

We lost the part that said they couldn't manipulate the grid. They just can't use negatives. We got hosed.

I believe that the arbitrator ruled that the company cannot use "unreasonable" reserve numbers. Of course, negative reserve numbers are unreasonable. But so are 46 reserves, to cover 5 open trips, over a 4 day period.

A lot of bases besides CLT have a lot of days going critical.

Why would they ever let the grid go green again. It's in their benefit to always keep it black unless absolutely necessary to make it critical. They won that argument with the judge.

They rather save a few bucks then make our lives any easier.

Scare tactics...Like they've got somebody lined up with a surplus of pilots just dying to take them...at the same cost as PSA.

We save money for AAL because there's no middle man.

It's cheaper for segregated fleets, thus us getting all the remaining W/O CRJ flying. Once all the CRJs get transferred, Envoy's costs go down considerably.

They will come to PSA, just a matter of how long it will take...and how much money will have to be thrown to keep pilots coming in the door.

For me, this rsv grid manipulation is worse than it was before in terms of my own quality of life. It all but renders pilot seniority based and open time useless for anything but trip pick up. Someone needs a swift kick in the balls.

Does anyone currently commute from the Seattle area?

I'm looking for insight on how easy it is to commute to the PSA bases from Seattle and does the SAP make the commute worth it.

Any help would be appreciated.
