Anything helps. Thanks
Honestly, every airline has pilots complaining left and right. It's almost second nature. In regionals it's one level of complaining, in majors it's the next level of complaining.
I worked for a 135 outfit before this and compared to that this place is flowers and rainbows.
Everything is relative, so depending on your expectations it can either suck or be one of the best places ever.
Out of the regionals I still think it is one of the best (top 3) places with obvious room for improvement.

I'd do it again. Got hired in March, first airline gig...

Holding a R1 line in a junior base starting Sep 1. Overall, I have little to complain about. Have 12 days of work (just over 65 hours) for the month scheduled with no vacation used. Arranged my schedule with almost two weeks off in a row too! If I choose to work more, it will be paid at 1.5 X ... Where else can a relatively new hire get such treatment!?!?

Really good people to fly with overall, I've been impressed...especially after getting done with training.

People use negative and realistic interchangeably sometimes. Airing a legitimate gripe is not the same as being negative.

Does PSA have fleas ? Yes. Does every airline every where including the majors have fleas ? Yes.

Honestly if reading about base selection, upgrade time, flow numbers, etc, etc is exhausting you - I worry for your ability to drink from the fire hose known as INDOC.

Actually it's not reading about it that is exhausting, it's the way people talk about it. I'm sure I'll be fine for INDOC. Hell, you made it through.

When does PSA plan to get the rest of the 700's from Envoy? It's a very slow rate right now.

Negativity is only relative to what you are trying to accomplish with your career and what you expect to receive from PSA. What you read on these forum's do not always accurately portray the general culture of PSA, or any other airline for that matter. Yes, we have problems here, but so does every other regional airline. The key is to get your experience and hopefully progress to the next phase of your career. With PSA's growth, short reserve, and relatively quick upgrade time you can achieve the next level of your career rapidly. Having the ability to adjust your schedule via the SAP is a great qol tool that is unique to PSA that can aid in accumulating flight time and experience or to maximize your time off.

For me it was the right choice and the pros far out way the cons. Good luck with your decision.

Well, they said they would transfer one a month until they were done. And they've done just that. I suspect that's exactly how it will continue.

I heard the goal was to transfer the rest by the end of 2018. I think summer 2019 is more realistic though.

When we resumed the transfer they said one a month. I was just going by they. Always thought it was silly to go so slow. Dion called it 'responsible growth'. 35 airplanes is 35 months at that rate.... Most of us will be gone before they are all here at that rate. Who knows.

I heard recently that at the end of the year they will reevaluate the rate at that time... Whatever that means.

This place is super cryptic sometimes. But we are coming up on the time of the year when they like to announce something new like a base, bonus or whatever. Always seems like September or October they have something to say to kick the can and keep recruiting going. Though this year it looks like we are staffing better then we were last year at this time.

Coulda fooled me. Looking at the reserve grid there are 0......yes 0 Green Days for September in CLT. September is slowest month of the year.
