some people with acute heminopsia may require a walking cane or otherwise be considered partially blind. I never had those symptoms. I may have to turn my head or eyes more to the right on average but it never presented me with a debilitating condition. If it doesn't interefer with my abilities as a PIC then it's not worth debating.

Double vision has been surgically correctable for over a century; I haven't had it for over 30 years.

THe "required" recuperation and stabilization period is per the FAA Medical Standards...
I was aware of THAT limitation going in...
And I guess that for open heart sugery, there probably does need to be "some" minimum recovery period. For some , maybe less time would actually be acceptable. But for others, maybe MORE time might be needed.
My AME considered "some" minimum time reasonable. And I never asked the cardiologist. Frankly... for me 6 months wasnt a horrible plan.
But OK City's complete disrespect for the applicants need to have an idea of where we were in the process....THAT was the first insult. Add to that that ( due to my continued subtle probing I learned that) the specialist team ONLY met ONCE per month... and because they met at the end of the month... July 4 killed a day ( yes really) as did Thanksgiving and Christmas...so at least THREE months were not serviced at all..
DEAR FAA.... RESPOND A SAY IM WRONG !!!
Nope they wont provide ANY info.
