Unfortunately the regionals stop reading the resume once they see "ATP."

Probably the only first year FO with an Admiral's club membership. I feel for these 20 something's. My pay at Envoy is $400 a week (first year). I commute from DFW to ORD to sit five days of reserve for, at best, a single round. Love the people here, enjoy the jet, but the discretionary gravy train is running out. I didn't sign on to fly 15 hrs a month. Why Envoy? Better quality of life training in Dallas. I had to bury a family dog during training and my wife had surgery. Morale here is terrible and no one seems to care about those at the bottom of the list. So that's my story.
Sorry about your dog and wife. But like someone said maybe look at changing regionals. Life is considerable better on not only you but your family if you can live in base.

Good luck

Now that's funny right there. You're not demanding anything other than to continue the perpetual whipsaw and broken regional model with professional pilots being grossly under compensated.

But, go ahead and make jokes and jabs, since that's all you seem to be able to do. It's not like your future career is that serious of an issue, right?

Broken regional model??? Really?? You're gonna blame Piedmont? Aren't we all ALPA? I don't see our National UNION stepping in to fix this broken model do you? Didn't they say PSA's deal was good? The model will be broke until the regional pilot pool is dried up. PERIOD!

Believe me if it sucks here so bad after this TA then nobody will come here. You guys can get on here and tell everyone to stay far away from Piedmont. Then we'll simply shut down or AAG will realize they need to increase the pay. Just let the pilot shortage dictate the market.
I came to PDT because I'm from ENC and the fact that they had one of the best Working Contracts in the industry. My time is Money! They have treated me well here and fairly. I've had my moments be ****ed about our schedules but what regional doesn't. Pilots are never ever happy unless they are home sipping' on some bourbon and watching there kids play. For what its worth and listening to others at regionals this place ain't too damn bad. They all have there issues.

There's always Compass, Mesa, Skywest, Republic to continue to carry the torch for the future of the regionals.

Are you deliberately being this obtuse? Did I say I blamed Piedmont for the state of the regionals? Nice deflection, though. The simple fact is that by accepting the same work for lower compensation you're playing right into management's hand by keeping the regional model viable. PDT ratifying this TA would certainly not be helping the cause. Why is that hard to understand? Why do you feel you need to make less so that your parent company, whose is raking in record profits by the way, can refleet your airline? Would you ever ask for a raise? Would you ever say no to a pay cut? At what point do you stop rolling over?

Everyone has there own reasons, but until we all see the light and stop allowing this $25k a year bullsh*t to stop nothing will ever change.

I work about 2-3 days a month here at Eagle/Envoy/Whatever because I'm disgusted with this industry. I work my other job full time as my frustration with this industry has sent me over the edge. Everyone's out for themselves, there's no teamwork no nothing. However I'm glad we voted no and I can hang my invisible hat up to that. I fully expected the outcome we got for voting no, but it's just indicative that this is a dead-end job for all of us.

Doug Parker should rot and I have no desire to work for him or make his wallet fatter by using my expertise. It gets to a point where enough is enough; Piedmont will vote in their contract, and AA will take one final dump on Envoy and we'll all be out on the street if we haven't quit already.

Time will tell.

Step down from that high horse, flying's flying and operating's operating. I've done military, 121, 135 freight and corporate; it's not all that different. When was the last time you wrote a ICAO flight plan or landed at an airport neither you, nor your airline, operated at before? Out of a non-radar approach in the monsoon season?

So do u guys realize that if PDT accepts the TA every PDT pilot gets a pay raise? People keep telling us PDT pilots to not accept this TA but I just wanted to point out if we accept this TA I get a $20 an hour raise.

Now for the record I'm marginally against it because I feel the TA is just below industry standard for 76 seat aircraft and agreeing to a 10 year contract is just plain stupid but ALPAs motto has always been get the aircraft on property then negotiate up. I just wanted people outside PDT to know we all get a significant raise if we accept this TA.
