To some people none of this matters until the regional they work for gets affected. What happens when your airline gets undercut by a bottom feeder and is no longer "competitive"?

Can someone please clarify what the true cost of the pilots are when a "bottom feeder" versus an Envoy type company compete? I can't believe that an entire contract servicing a major would come down to the flight crew.

Yup. I actually agree with your point. My comments were channeled to others through your post. Lately, I tend to believe PDT's best days are ahead...just a gut feeling...we shall see.
