And if its voted down then the same thing that happened to Envoy is going to happen to Piedmont. Mr. Striker it appears that you are looking for some friends on the unemployment line and you are hoping the Piedmont guys might join you, no? If there was a set number of regional carriers, lets say 6 for the example, and no more could be added/created to the pool then all of this vote "no" propaganda would work as there would only be a select number of regionals to choose from. If everyone voted no under those circumstances then changes would have to be made as there would be no other options to go after. Unfortunately it does not work like this, there is always going to be a cheaper option no matter how you look at it. Each pilot has a choice to make, some will vote yes others may vote no and in the end we will see what happens.
Unlike the past, simply moving planes to another certificate in THIS ENVIRONMENT will NOT guarantee pilots will actually be available to fly them.
Wake up people...STOP being so afraid-think logically(like adults)

What makes them better? Oh the rest have shiny jets. I know many FO's left PDT to fly the Shiny Jets at Republic for half of what they were making in a 37 seat Dash 8. If you ask most of them now they will say it was the worst mistake they ever made.
I know Piedmont has a great working contract.
I know Piedmont has a great health insurance plan.
I know Piedmont has a great vacation bidding system.
Once this TA is signed they will get shiny jets on the property and they will be just as good or better then the rest. While they aren't gonna raise the bar they sure as hell won't be lowering it. The bar will remain the same. Sadly.

I call B.S.! XJT, Envoy, Republic, Silver have all said NO in order to stop the race to the bottom, thus helping the pilot peer group. You are the few that are justifying selling out. Your vote will have an affect on others in a time when pilots are finally getting traction in the movement to restore this profession.

And we will do what's best for US. As entertaining as it is to read the comments and post on here.... I came to PDT to work here, not your airline, for good reason. You folks can keep the three ring circus you already created with the jets already have (or had). PDT will go back to our regularly scheduled program. You ignored us before, so please continue to do so...

So those of you that want PDT to vote no thinks AAG will give PDT a fleet renewal even if they vote no? Or even voting yes on this TA doesn't assure them a new fleet but at least the top 1/3 lifers will be able to retire at PDT. Sure bunch of 1-2 year FOs with the whole world ahead of them can and do make lateral moves to get to the majors but I don't know any 55-60 year old pilots who would start elsewhere from the bottom when they have families and probably at the age where their kids are going through college. If you fail to see this as unnecessary risk then you need to open up your eyes to reality and perhaps be a little more understanding.
