Default Go-Jetter denies Piedmont guy a seat.

Talking to a buddy at Piedmont the other day, he is sitting in the back of a BloJet RJ trying to catch a ride home, the Capt comes back says he'd like to see him in the jet way, bring your things. This was an empty seat on the airplane mind you, not the jump seat.

Proceeds to tell him cannot have a ride, he doesn't like US Air guys. He was denied a Jumpseat in the Cockpit of a US Air flight and now he won't carry any US air guys.

From what I have seen the mainline guys barely no who the RJ guys even are, chances are the seat was taken and thats why he got bumped. Either way I say they walk, and yes I am a Mesa pilot who would never/ever denied a seat to a guy trying to get to or from work and if my captain wanted to I'd take issue with him over it.

GoJet, GoRent a car.

Merry Christmas!

I don't care if that offends anyone, thats what I celebrate so be Merry about it for me.

These guys are such cry babies. When I was at Trans States, I remember hearing a story that during class (both gojet and TSA share the same building) TSA guys apparently gave gojet guys dirty looks. After the gojet guys cried to their management, the VP of flt ops from TSA came down and btched out the TSA guys. These guys just don't get it.

Best part is, they wonder why they aren't liked? Instead of giving someone good to say about them on this forum, as if anyone would do that, they pull this crap and send a guy home.

Biggest goons in the industry, or close to it anyways!

Caught in another lie.....we are not cass, we couldn't even get through the gate agent to ask for a ride in the cockpit. Next time...think of a better lie.

I have also heard stories of GoJetters denying rides. Its not the correct approach if they want to eventually gain some type of respect in the industry. Plus, it makes life hell on their commuters, as if it isn't already, if the word gets around. Most guys could care less who rides and who doesn't, but if one of these non caring guys gets denied one day....another gojet hater is born.

I want to be careful how I word this, I am not trying to compare mesa with GJ, but it is not a secret that a lot of people don't like mesa. So what does mesa do? They welcome jumpseaters. You never hear of anyone getting denied by a Mesa crew. I have to ride them alot and they are always the most friendly and welcoming crews I run into. I have never heard anything other than, "Welcome aboard, glad to have you, make yourself at home." Maybe GJ needs to take a lesson from them, and try to build some respect (however little it may be) wherever they can. I can't believe GJ pilots would do this and only make it harder for their fellow pilots than it already may be.

If it's on the internet, it has to be true!

Uhmmmm, magnum_man, and pilotara, am I missing something?
It SPECIFICALLY says in the post the rider was in the BACK, not the "Jumpseat".

Leave them alone!! Didn't you hear they work for GoJets? Mental retardation is a serious matter and they should not be made fun of! They can't help it that they only read on a 3rd grade level!
