I don't get the constant speculation on bases. I can't help but laugh at the base rumors from a "credible source in the union" or a "credible source from a higher up". They've straight up said that we won't have a new base for a while lol.

The last corporate communication email (last week or two I believe) did say they are starting to “look at” a new base in 2018. So the door has been opened, but no other details.

Not to be confused with the ROA and SBY (along with RIC and MDT) maintenance bases which will remain in operation for the foreseeable future. I understand all dash-300 operations will end in March 2018.
