Purely my speculation, but I would wager a reasonable guess that CLT will be the next base.
Allegedly (and according to a reliable source), there will be a small number of jet lines in CLT beginning sometime around the new year, probably with crews originating in PHL for the time being. Hoping it's an indication of CLT as an eventual base.
Time will tell.

Pure speculation of course but after reading SK letter they are going to have to open a base in 18. Pdt will not be able to attract any pilots if filthy is only option to go. Heard bean town this week in the school house, but that wouldn’t make any new hires want to sign up. I really Could see clt or even phx (again) being the new base. Who knows. Just hope the union keeps their feet to the fire w what’s went down at AAs biggest competitor. I’ve said it before so happy for all you newer guys who are coming in at this time. Many of us sat on Fo rsv for two years making less than 35k a year. Y’all get to go straight to the left seat and be clearing 200k before you are 35 at mainline. Latest class drop at AA youngest 25 oldest 60. 25 yr old. She will be #1 on the list as of now.

That was several weeks ago and as many of us know, things at piedmont change daily. Wouldn't surprise me we get a mx hangar built at clt and have a 400 pilot base..
American is scrambling right now to cover their own flights, trickle it down to us here at piedmont, psa, envoy and the other players and fill in the blanks. If the economy continues for several more years who knows what will happen.

So what you’re saying is our contractual pay rates at our min guarantee aren’t enough for you, so you work extra.

Its the best regional because we have have evrbodysmugglin on the team and that dude can wheel and deal. I once saw him punch a bear in the face yell and I quote "Go prevent forest fires somewhere else" and then lit up a cigarette.
