Negative, and the face to face will be light-er on the technical stuff since you're already 121 current. It will probably center around TBAT's and why do you want to come here type questions.

I believe it still is. The confirmed list may only be 58 or so right now. If you do the math, the 3 jets per month puts us closer to 70-75. At one point the list was 20, then 30, then 50. It is a fluid process, but will be concurrent with what we can handle. That is why keeping one jet base is the best plan for now. The training arena is where we need to keep expanding. Between initial, transition, and recurrent events...they will continue to be challenged.

When I interviewed there was no sim as long as you have been flying recently (I think it was something like IFR current and 100 hours in the last 6 months). ATP style written (Sheppard air interview prep was worth its weight in gold ), then some HR questions and technical questions. Overall a very laid back atmosphere and a great group of people.

Not when I did it in August. Just that test, and then some questions in the interview (METAR Codes, icing, airport lighting).

We were given a hard number of 56 jets at end of 2018 in Indoc from VP. I agree it is fluid and once things stabilize on the training end that number will climb. I think a new base will be necessary before it climbs much higher than 60. If deliveries continue at a rate of three per month next year, that has us reaching the magic number around July. Will be interesting to see what happens after that.

So that manning list that the union sent out.... am I right in thinking it basically gave us a heads up as to who is going to training in the second half of the month?

I know we were told the second November class is cancelled on here, but there are some people "below the break" on the list (won't be awarded a line in December) who I can't think of any reason that they wouldn't be allowed to bid. Unless they're going to training at the end of November, so bidding for a December schedule wouldn't make sense

Looks like vacation for you.. or they will try to make you sit reserve out out sby..

December will be interesting with training.. since instructor training eats a week.

Reserve in SBY sounds like the life....

Also the bid memo says "There is no 145 CA training for DEC!".... are they saying there's no CQ scheduled for December, or they aren't training any new captains? Or both? Love the communication at this company!

FWIW, for the new hires out there, CPAT does not have to be completed prior to Indoc anymore. Sounds like we will be given CPAT login info during Indoc and its to be completed while we wait for systems to start.

Anybody in the January new hire date?
