Looks like in the last 2 months we had about 18 leave between flow, retirement and resignations. I just eyeballed it, and I haven't paid much attention during other times to see how normal that is.

Looking forward to the next few months passing. Will pick up 20 more FW hours each month. Plan to get on Airline Apps in January and start applying in February. Piedmont is my first choice. PSA second. Republic third. Envoy fourth.

I wouldn’t honestly say that PSA pilots are vehemently against PBS. Most just feel that our current system of line-bidding plus the SAP simply works for us. And in our mind why change something we know and understand and is guaranteed to work? But the reality is that PBS can be great. I’ve talked to pilots at airlines with PBS and they get great schedules like we do at PSA. The keys to having good schedules with PBS is strong contract language, union oversight, and transparency. Without those it can be a mess.

Everything has a price. And if PSA wants us to have PBS bad enough then I’m sure it will happen. But it will cost them.

Yeah one on 11/05 and one 11/27 for now, its on the drive.

Damn, enjoy the Boston Market spread in the E concourse. Enjoyed “some” of my line flying on thanksgiving. One year we had 2 crews in HXD for 30 plus hours. Company hooked us all up at a very nice restaurant on the island for dinner. Beat the hell out of my cooking. Didn’t mind spending damn near all monthly per diem on wine and cocktails for my crew!

There might be a smidgeon of hope that the training dept sends you home for Thanksgiving and brings you back right afterword. They don't like working holidays either.
That being said, don't be surprised when they can't.
