Envoy isn’t using Paris anymore, for a variety of reasons. They bought sim time in Houston instead.

I honestly don't see PDT making it much above 800 as hiring at LCC's becomes very attractive to a 1 year FO. At least in my tenure.. we will finish the year at approximately 650 to 665, well below the years expected goal even though they have been hiring like bonkers. This is going to be a struggle for any Regional Carrier to keep 1 year FO's. Also Legacy OTS hiring is really starting to get cray cray right now. I am always hearing about FO's moving on to Spirit, Frontier, etc.

Don't rely on the flow, have it as back up plan.
Huh? PSA is already over 1500 pilots with a bunch of 700s still to be transferred. Envoy is something like 2,000 pilots and they will be replacing 145s and 700s with 175s so I don’t think they’re shrinking much if at all from here on out.

I think the goal is:
150 E175s at Envoy.
150 CRJs at PSA
100ish? 145s at Piedmont.

More if the WOs can maintain their hiring and stem attrition enough to staff more flying. As far as a new Piedmont base, I have a feeling you may just end up with CLT. CPs here recently said that we are going to increase PHL flying and that we will lose some more lines in CLT and that Piedmont will do more of that flying. So take that for what it’s worth. Maybe PSA and PDT will share CLT/PHL?

I think ultimately it will end up being the 3 WOs plus RAH and SKW doing all of the AA flying.

That's some good insight.. I didn't know PSA was that big already.

I didn’t either until I looked at our seniority list a couple days ago. I was honestly a little shocked. That is total pilots mind you, not necessarily total active pilots. Not including management pilots, sim instructors, and those on various forms of leave I think we’re peobably around 1200 active pilots currently.

Yeah you guys are right, Paris is an ugly city

I'll stick to Watertown and Wilkes Barre. Or better yet, Detroit!

But anyway, anyone know what class dates are looking like in November for upgrades/new hires?

Detroit’s where dreams come true! Or where mine died, haven’t decided yet.
