AA shutting off the flow recently should be motivation to keep ones apps updated everywhere and keep actively pursing opportunities (job fairs, networking etc.).

Folks at Piedmont seem to become complacent in their career progression once the opportunity for 300% premium pay comes around. They would do great at SWA!

The flow didn’t get “shut off” the hiring simply was stopped across the board to deal with a training backlog and the usual holiday training slowdown. Or so I was told. *sips the koolaid*

The flow is a good failsafe device to get folks a career at a tier 1 airline (however they choose to define that). It shouldn’t be used as the primary method to get there, even though that’s the way the recruiters pitch it.
When you do the math, in many cases it makes $$$ from the money prospective to leave to go to a top tier airline upto the day you flow.
