DEC program is approved from the FAA for the E145. Word has it people were pulled from systems yesterday as newhire FOs will now continue through systems/simulators as Captains.
That would be a nice surprise for those individuals.

not exactly accurate. My knowledge is of the guys from the March class. They have gone through training as an FO and most are right at SOE. Pretty sure they will complete as FOs, start flying, and then go back to the schoolhouse as upgrades when their time comes.

With the slow transition there will likely be enough slots for transitioning Captains. Ideally we’ll see more days off on the schedule as manning for the jets starts to get healthy. 60 jets or so will require 1100-1200 pilots on property (935-1020 if we give the company PBS), so there shouldn’t be downgrades for any Dash Captains if that’s the fear.
