I'm about to hit 3 year pay and they are still holding me on it. Flying a 190 with a killer schedule and making about over 1 fiddy an hour ain't a bad gig.

I wouldn't worry about it. PHL has too many regional flights for us to have them all. We will have our hands full doing a lot of what AWAC was doing...LGA and BOS psuedo-base flights, Canada, etc... I wouldn't be surprised to see more LGA as time goes on and more 145's are transferred. As for Republic...if the WO hiring can continue, I think AA is best served bringing as much flying in house as they can.

Yes, if you commute then the 190 is a great plane. You'll sit reserve for a few months the trips are nice and like you said you bid off of it and get awarded a Group 2 plane before your year is up. You'll shoot up the seniority list and then by the time you go to the Bus you'll be off reserve also. (depending on base).

They Skipped a new hire class in August and allegedly December is going to be a smaller class, so it should cut down the delay by 4-6 weeks between indoc and ground school and more SOE Captains should reduce the delays after sims by the end of the year.
