We are going to be severely understaffed for a 55 aircraft operation based on the attrition that is occurring now PLUS the 6 per month that will leave when the flow starts back up.

Which is why the rumor mill these days say PDT will be downsizing the number of total aircraft that it operates. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the big announcement at the flight ops update today that PDT is indeed shrinking.

With the flow back in full force, there will be so much movement it’ll make your heads spin. Quick upgrades and reserve will be a thing of the past.

I never quite understood why you hear lots of guys going to Spirit and Frontier when you have a guaranteed spot at AA. How can you give that up? The flow is a sweet deal that people lose out on when leaving for other airlines…
