When pax board and I hear someone say.. oh.. this is so tiny or small I have a whole speil for them... comparing a porsche to a Mac truck and than I slap the skin of the aircraft and remark, "This little girl is the fastest jet in American's fleet. We actually get special training just to fly this plane to handle its intense speed." Somehow the pax seems a little more comfortable getting inside "Barbie". It's a shame a pax coming off a new NEO than getting in our worn out old girls.

no wifi, no power outlets, passengers can’t bring a roller bag on board, constantly weight restricted (and that’s only going to get worse as people get fatter).
Also seems almost every plane has some sort of MEL or multiple MELs these days, lots of planes with APU issues. I don’t know if maintenance is super understaffed and unable to keep up on all the issues or if they just are kicking the can down the road and management doesn’t want to spend money to fix anything on these planes.

it's a niche airline, we operate to cities mainline can't, these 50 seaters aren't going anywhere. they're a true commodity and the type of flying PDT does is unique and more challenging than anywhere else! some call it small..i call it cozy. plus, you get the family feel here at PDT since it's so small!

It's the kooj on his incognito accounts, banned due to his presence on the Envoy boards, thinks he's outsmarted the mods by making two accounts and posting on the Piedmont boards. The pathetic writing style is the same for all three of his accounts. The guys a joke.

Get in, get your time and get out as quick as you can. That is the goal of any entry level flying position. Go to the outfit that you can get the most amount of flight time in the least amount of time possible. The current hiring wave after the regionals is just beginning. No one wants to be left standing when the music stops again. Only you know what is best for your situation.
