Who knows what PDTs future in ORD will be. It doesn’t look like PHL will be back to pre-pandemic levels any time soon, at least until European travel resumes. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Philly base shrinks and a small one is opened in ORD if the plan has us there for an extended period of time. Not having reserve crews, etc readily available has caused issues and probably keeps scheduling and management up at night...

I just always thought it was their 24/7 ops that kept them up all night...man, learn something new everyday.

Real talk. Shrinking PHL, expanding CLT or making a small ORD base makes some sense until Europe gets to flying again.

It was a tongue-in-cheek comment 🙃 But really though, not having a few additional crews and maybe an occasional spare aircraft at hand is just asking for a bad time. At least in DC they could limo from PHL as an absolute last resort.

Figured that much. Sorry. Forgot to put /s or whatever it is to implicate you’re just teasing. Yeah, that Philly DCA shuttle was a possibility and now they have nothing for ORD which has already proven to be a challenge. Time will tell, until then. I’m going to fly like there’s no tomorrow and make every flight/landing better than the last one.

Just found an HR form for requesting accommodation around the Covid 19 vaccine on the company webpage. Guess there are plans to make it mandatory.

How in the world do you make the jump from the company altering your schedule to allow you to get the vaccine to making it mandatory?

im also curious where you came to the conclusion that it is going to be mandatory. has the company (more importantly, AA) made any indication that it is going to be mandatory, or is this a figment of your imagination?
