Nowhere.

I’m not saying you’ll see e190s at American eagle carriers.

Eventually AAG will ask for more 70/60 seaters. What they offer, or how they twist arms in a potential bankruptcy, is another story.

people might laugh. But something like this certainly isn’t impossible these days.

1 year ago if you told me this thing called “coronavirus” was going to wreck the economy, cause the industry to collapse, see a drop in TSA numbers down to 87.000 people, lockdowns, stay at home orders, quarantines, etc etc etc. You know what I would’ve said?

where did you hear that from your Flight attendant's boyfriend's step sister's cousin in law?

If you predicted the coronavirus, you wouldn’t be a genius. You would be lucky. Kind of like predicting changes to a scope clause because the industry is currently suffering

You and your scope, give it a rest.

No, it’s not a diss. You made your point already.

As you’ve stated in your previous post history, you’re an eagle/envoy flow to AA, currently furloughed. I find it fascinating that suddenly you’re a scope hawk, how convenient. Not to mention, you continuously post wishlist thoughts on AA’a future. Anyone who makes a post that negatively affects your wishlist is essentially a moron in your book.

I am not a flow through, and I am not furloughed.

But yes, when someone claims with conviction that a company they do not work for will relax a bedrock job security measure, I take notice. In this case, I am talking about it amongst several other people who are also talking about scope. Guess that’s against your rules?

Post you made earlier in the AA threads 👇

So forgive me for saying not only do I not care about what Skywest and envoy think of themselves, I really don’t want to have to read through it on an AA forum. No disrespect but take it elsewhere
Maybe I have the eagle flow to furloughed confused with someone else. It doesn’t matter honestly. The point is, you’re obviously making posts based on personal bias. Anyone who claims anything that wouldn’t benefit yourself is a moron.

The last round of relaxation (2000-2009) was the result of airlines racing to reduce capacity following 9/11 without giving up market presence. In other words, it wasn't driven by the economics of flying regional jets. That was also a time of massive consolidation and multiple bankruptcies. We haven't seen any of that today. The last time United negotiated with scope, they got a 23% raise followed by two 4.7% raises. The precedent on the price of scope has been set, and it comes at a very very steep price. Besides, I am not sure scope has ever been touched in chapter 11. I don't see why it would make sense to do it now either.

Giving up scope means admitting that domestic pilots are overpaid, enjoy too high a quality of life, and have work rules that are too good for what they do.

The quote you brought from another thread was after you came to an AA thread talking about how great the 170 is, so yeah no one was interested. Not sure where you are reading me calling anyone a moron either.
