How long to start training?
Assuming someone gets hired with previous 121 experience, is there a long wait for a class date? I heard it could be months before you start training.
Also, how long is duration of training? Are there breaks due to training being backed up? That wouldn't be bad considering you get paid and wouldnt have to cram with studying.

The June 5th class will be starting their systems class September 11. So yes, there's a wait. Some have continued to work for their former employers (with permission of the DO), some have used their travel benefits, and others just chilled at home. You're on full pay, benefits have started and as others have said, seniority is building.

Yes. I ended up getting moved up 4 classes. Talk to your pilot recruiter and JM from pilot recruitment. Make sure they know you're available and want to move up class dates and are okay accepting short notice to start.

Four classes... That's 100 seniority numbers... and several months of flow. Nice!

I was very fortunate. I had all of my paperwork completed and they knew they could call me at the last minute for a class opening and I would be in CLT when it started. There were 4 folks in my new hire class that ended up getting pulled in from later later classes.
