Only way they come after us is with Ch 11. You really think Doug wants to pursue that and have his main source of wealth devastated huh?
Think he’s going to have much choice when the pot of gold runs out eventually (assuming economic recovery sucks)?

If you can't make payroll and have some sort of return on investment on the money you are spending today, you don't have a business.

They were saying that Piedmont pilots were going to protect their contract because furloughs would be back on property, but we won’t do the same at AA and Doug was coming for us. I said the only way they’re coming for us is through chapter 11, and that is going to be the absolute last resort because it will cost Doug a very large sum of money. Never did I say it wasn’t possible, I said that implying it was his strategy is a joke.

And if you think the pilots at your parent company get their contract gutted via chapter 11 and you guys get to “protect your contract”, I’ve got news for you

Couldn’t agree more. I always laugh when I hear a fellow regional pilot say that they need to protect the contract in bankruptcy.

you will get what they give you and you’ll like it!! Also, the beatings will continue until moral improves

Morale. Pilots don’t have morals.

Piedmont might not be furloughing or downgrading.

We didn’t give up anything.... permanently.... supposedly....

Stay tuned.

I hope no concessions. They should give those 123 on furlough the option of a reduced guarantee until demand is returned, while the others remain the same.

That's not going to get to the cost savings needed.

Whatever it is, it better have some STRONG snapback language in there.

Maybe... unfortunately we are in no position to really negotiate.. plenty of pilots on the streets to take our seats for less money.
