Flows per month is dependent on AA holding newhire classes that month. When that happens Piedmont contractually is guaranteed the lesser of 25% of the class size or a number of slots based on the size of the pilot group (which is currently 5) per month.

If I remember correctly AA abstained from holding two months of new hire classes which means they're taking 0 folks overall those months. Therefore there will be no flows those months.

As much as the folks at Envoy are freaking out, the sky isn't falling. However, folks should probably have renewed motivation to get their apps out to their other career destinations of choice in addition to AA.

Get your PIC time and attend the fairs and APPLY at United, Delta, Fedex, UPS, and Southwest. They are even hiring FOs with 0 PIC time now. Doesn't take that long on airline apps.

The flow is good but if they hold no class dates then they are not required to send any flows. Go to whatever major offers you the first class date.

The amount of guys here banking on the flow blows my mind. I'm a Captain and have apps out with Delta, United, and SWA.

I don't plan on flowing to AA

No one is freaking out. People are just interested in being informed on what is happening. Relax.

I think this is because American is first choice of most Piedmont pilots because most live in CLT or PHL or at least close to them. A lot of guys don't even bother applying to AA outside of the flow which baffles me.
