Yeah for sure. I suppose we won’t really know how things will shake out for another few months. Until then all we can do is speculate.

AA announced today that there will be paid LOAs for their employees (beyond the pilot group) as a result of the ~$12b that AA will be receiving from the stimulus bill. It's not a for sure thing until it's a for sure thing, but I would estimate that this improves the odds for Piedmont employees in general and pilots in particular that some form of a paid LOA will be made available in the near future.

Looks like 25% pay for non-pilots/FAs for the new paid LOA at Piedmont.
Envoy pilots are apparently being offered 19hrs of pay, which isn't exactly 25% of their min guarantee, but it's close. Here's hoping we don't receive a copy & paste of that offer.

I'm an Envoy guy just lurking over here. Our guarantee is 72 hours, so the 19 is a little over 25%.

It’s only skirting it if that’s mandatory. If they were given a bailout money requirements to not furlough, but instead pay ANY amount less to ‘stay’ and it’s mandatory reduction, then yes, definitely write your US rep.
But If that’s an optional offer, then the only issue is that no one will take it. Which only hurts both of us and them and forces them to pay 75h guarantee, and makes us miserable sitting stand-by. Unless/until we can get an LOA with reference to % of pilots vs. flights equals released from duty requirements.
I’m pretty sure it’s optional though, as the CARES act requires them to pay all crew 75h (whatever guarantee was at time if signing March 28th).
They need to offer at least 55 hours like AA does (realizing AA makes 2-3 times more hourly...is still way less than them). Then, you might get some takers. Incentive to get off of stand-by, but enough to make a reduced living, and less crew will be on stand-by.
Though some (one could argue most) of the FAs and FOs get paid so little, they depend on per diem. So even an offer to pay 75h to be on leave, wouldn’t be enough to take.
