What about if I have a very dark gray, un-labeled, professional looking jacket that's significantly better for the 5 or 6 daily walkarounds I have to do in the Northeast and Canada? It looks professional, functionally is more compact, drier, warmer, and saves packing space because I'm not wearing the AA trench coat with my normal clothes. Serious question

There are far more important things that both the company and pilot group should focus on then wearing the “approved” coats/sweaters. Some people wear different brands and they still look professional which is all that matters. Get over it, it’s not worth the attention or brain power to demonize it.
