MDT is going to be a co-domicile with PHL.

Similar to LGA & JFK being one domicile for mainline

It's coming just as soon as we stop wearing non-company approved hats while doing a walk around or waiting for the hotel van in windy sub-freezing weather.

Add EWR to that mix.

The PDT version should be PHL, MDT and SBY. Would be great! probably the only reason for the two hour call out

Yeah I cannot wait to catch a cold waiting 45 minutes for the van in the “heated” semi enclosed waiting area in Albany.

It just amazes me that apparently a good use of a PDT Chief Pilot's time is sending emails about uniforms.

Not like there is anything else more useful they could spend their time on or justify their high salary to be worth.

QOL improvements for our flight crews? Nahhh...

Thats just it, they do have way more useful things to worry about, but part of their job is enforcing all of our policies - not just some. Believe me, I’m sure they would love for all of us to be able to show up on time and in the proper uniform - pretty small ask. I’m sure they’re also “amazed” that some of us cannot do the simple things that we know we’re supposed to do.

The “more important things” argument has always seemed selfish to me. We’re expected to abide by certain standards - even if they result in no personal gain. What if you received that interview with Delta. Would you wear your wind breaker because it was more comfortable than your suit coat?

I would never want their job, but I respect the position they’re in and would like to think they do the best they can with the hand they’re dealt - at least as far as JP and CD are concerned; can’t and won’t comment on the others.

This is a pet peeve in the cp office... I get it, they get phone calls, they are doing their job.. sometimes they can be a bit overzealous with the problems we have here and there solution comes off tone deaf.

Unfortunately this was kicked off by one of the special cases wearing their bright red hat...

It takes one apple...

Add in people not even close to the uniform and you get the email.

I find it comical on both sides.. pilots not wearing the uniform and the CP office having to chase down professionals.
