That’s what makes us great. We do more with less... I think we hit too many of our performance goals last year so they are reducing our pilots incrementally to test the limits of understaffing

To be fair, even though they had 750ish pilots last year, 100ish were part of the hiring binge, stuck in the training pipeline, so they have more line pilots now than they've ever had. I think Piedmont is finally well staffed, at least for the winter lull, and they really only have to hire, at most, 20 per month to keep up with attrition. But, the training pipeline accumulator is now empty, outside attrition is increasing, all of the regionals are hungry for pilots, and summer will be here before we know it. It could get interesting.
