Are there any updates on QOL improvements?

It’s the holiday season and Bruce is retiring next month and MK just became DO. Everything is stagnant and you will hear nothing but crickets until summer rolls around (when flying picks back up).

In management’s eyes, PDT is fully staffed and the operation is running like a well oiled machine - they have no incentive and nothing to gain by giving the pilot group any QOL improvements if everything is fine from their perspective.

Sure PBS is always an ongoing discussion on both sides, but the senior mammas and papas don’t want to give up the current vacation system - so they would rather keep their eternal 11 day off month schedules with inefficient trip parings

Oh and you think PBS will correct that, you have a surprise coming.
AA BOS PBS, 5 on 2 off 5 on 1 off then 6 off then merry go round.

They are trying hard for internal... problem is not many want the job and a seat lock? Other problem is the requirements to be a CP as per the FOM. There are not many regional lifers out there anymore.
