You're missing my whole point. I actually don't think that we should be AA pilots. Just saying that your argument was bad. Also, you caught me. I don't care about Republic Airlines history. Go ahead and continue to bicker.

AA will do whatever they need to keep Feed coming. Many people said a flow would never happen and it did because of the need for feed. As the pilot pool continues to change the deal will be made sweeter.

It's encouraging that the company says there are no plans, "... at this time", to reduce the flow...
It's at their discretion? As though it's a dial, on a radio, that can be turned up and down as the company needs.
Rumor is that the union has notes about the original intent though... I suppose those will come in handy when the company asks for concessions to keep the flow at it's current rate.

Not true because AA could hold pilots at there WO's when staffing changes. If they are held back then I think they should have pay and seniority protection. The flow as it stand now is working good but the environment is gonna change and with that the Flow will be tweaked. Another option you could do is what Continental did back in the days with there Express. You got 2 for 1 seniority. If you were at a WO for 8 years then you came over at 4 year pay while being at the bottom of the list but coming in with 4th year pay would be kinda nice.

Yeah, they found treat it like sports teams where you can get pulled from the minors or sent back down.

Yes, at least you won't have to worry about that at AA. Especially when over half the seniority list is out the door over the next 8-9 years. Seem every trip I fly the Captains are 63 or older. One of the good things going for AA is the big turnover over the years.
