The coverage has been amazing.. really amazing..

I had a lot of dental work recently barely anything out of pocket.. got invisaline braces. Had several medical issues, stay away from Bangkok, and barely had co pays... simply amazing insurance.
Invisaline was covered? Few years ago they told me that was elective and I was responsible. Good news! The coverage is pretty solid. My wife and I cost the same $140/mo. But we are switching to here coverage in a few months. Mainlines coverage is garbage. Her coverage through the hospital trumps AA's at every corner.

In the end this is probably true. I strive not to deal with any of them to be honest, although I have found MK to be a straight shooter in my experience with him. There are others that you will encounter around here and in your travels that I would be more concerned with. These folks are on another completely disconnected and entitled level. Don't hear me wrong I am happy at PDT, but always be aware of your surroundings and know the enemy.

Yeah.. there are a few odd ducks way to eager to drop a dime to sby instead of just a five minute face to face..

If you show up on time.. follow the sops and treat everyone with respect, it's the easiest job I ever had. I've only called the CPs twice, and that was to ensure I was legal with situations I felt were grey.. we talked about it and in the end they said, it's your decision either way and I never felt forced to fly.

Never a phone call or anything from them.

Keep your nose clean and follow SOP to your best of ability, been here 9 years got called once by the CP asking why my originator was delayed, told him the truth that I over slept, and that was the end of that. Show up and do your job, you'll have plenty of ground to stand on.

Some guys are way too eager to hang out in the CP office. I show up, do my job the way the book tells me to, and leave. Never have to talk to a boss or have anyone looking over my shoulder, which is one of the reasons I love this job. I'm positive they don't even know my name, and that's the way I want it until I flow

Bingo. Fly in stealth mode as much as possible.

I walk in the crew room.. get revisions and leave.. head down.. once we don't have to carry charts, I see no reason to go in the crew room..

What does the new hire or initial training look like from a realistic POV? I have heard that some have given up on getting trained and gone elsewhere.

That is an extremely short sighted decision. I never thought I'd hear about someone rage quitting because they were getting paid to sit at home or use those handy dandy travel bennies all while gaining seniority, but then again, pilutz r smarts.
