Many I’ve spoken with aren’t interested in AA. They’re worried about the financials in the next downturn.

I’m happy our Union is taking this opportunity to address QOL. We need it worse than we need the money.

Min day or trip rig isn’t QOL, that’s soft pay. It’s possible that if they fixed those issues, the company might be forced to improve days off or more efficient schedules (QOL).

Soft pay is one reason why even if hourly rates were matched, PSA would still make way more and no one would come here...and AAG would come back to the table.

We all knew (thanks to you telling us) you were better than PDT. But now you’re better than mainline? Were exactly do you work?
Are you trolling or just a that much of a Richard?

When did I ever say I was “better” then piedmont? Was piedmont a stepping stone? Heck yeah it was. However don’t think I’ve ever said I’m better then piedmont.

You did not quote that. True.

However, you have made numerous references to how everyone here must have skeletons in closet and other inferences to your superiority to us. Even before coming here. Which is why you rubbed so many people to wrong way.

Apparently also AA hires anyone with a pulse. So you are superior to them too...

The hiring pool is the number of qualified pilots with applications on file. Basically virtually everyone applying to Delta also applies to UAL, American and SWA. The pool is still very deep and well stocked. American has no shortage of applicants and your qualifications have to be very strong to get a OTS interview.

Yes most people understand that. When a ots calls 2 weeks prior to their class date that they aren't showing they are unable to vet another candidate in time. This had proven to be quite problematic in dfw.

Thank you.
Well, republic would run 3 hours late at minimum, cancell flights left and right and american helped it out by giving it whatever flying it wanted and helped it out with better schedules, improved qol for there crews all while american screwed the w/o's. The same thing american is doing with skywest and mesa, all to the detriment of the w/o's.

As we all know, it's a small industry, and any some what savy person does their research and talks to their friends and colleagues. PDT is not exactly cream of the crop in terms of regionals. The best thing PDT is known for is its solid flight crew group of people - let's not lose that when the company clearly has everything to lose in the current situation that's unfolding.
Seniority list updated yesterday. 13 New Hires in April. 8 New Hires in May. 744 total pilots on “property.” 734 total from 4 March update. 21 names added. 10 names dropped.

I still do not get the attitude at Piedmont, where pilots asking for more efficient scheduling is a reach, i.e. Asking for the moon.
If you owned a company that did work on the road, would you consider your workers asking to work four 10 HR. days versus five 8 hour days a reach? There would be one fewer hotel stay, and less time spent in the rooms and more on the job. Is that really a reach? No. It's good business. Piedmont is light years behind in scheduling training, and work periods. More efficient schedules helps both parties.
Unreal.

Unions been very quiet since the last update a while ago. Did they counter the last company offer again or did they walk away completely?
