The fact that we are continuing to work crap schedule.. 4 on 2 off, 11 days off for 75 credit hours. Our peers lives have improved drastically. With just taking a raise, less than psa, we are saying we are ok with being the bottom.

Just saying yes without the current dialogue would be detrimental to those currently on board. If nothing happens but the raise at the end of this at least the conditions will have been better set for 2021 “small negotiations” and beyond.
In 2021 the company cannot start with “Why didn’t you say something was wrong when we offered the raise? Everything was fine then.” Negotiations posturing theater at its finest.

Umm this.... This exactly. Read this again people. If we were all flying 90+ hour lines and everyone was maxed out I would be way more understanding.

Just got my email offering triple for June vacations
Remember. This brought to you by the team offering section 19 for fatigue. And pre-assigning junior mans. And not even looking at adding QOL to the raises offered by AA.

AAG wants to give us this raise to help with staffing, right? Get more guys in the door, and slow attrition?
As nice as a raise would be for us, AAG and management are delusional to think that this raise will measurably help staffing. Even if we get what the company proposed, we're still behind PSA in every metric. We'd still have a lower pay rate (with their banding), we're still crediting WAYYYYY less hours per month than PSA, and we're getting 4-7 less days off per month than them. All at once. I'm in the top third of the seniority list and I'm still seeing 11 days off per month and less than 80 credit hours per month. Not to mention PSA has Philly and Charlotte bases, plus more, so there is literally not one reason why someone would consider us over the competition, even with this pay raise.
Moral of the story is that the company's proposal will not have the effect they intend unless we can offer more than PSA in at least SOME way. Currently we are miles behind on every front, and all the raise will do is make us less behind on one front.

As far as an apc mafia, I'm sorry. But im not banded with anyone. I have very strong views about labor and labor rights. I was born and raised in a union family, all immediate family members are union card holders from various trades. I still pay my union dues to the carpenters union. My opinions on labor rights, view of management greed, and incompetence are deeply rooted in who I am.

So what’s the difference in “Line Check Airmen” and OE Instructors? I’ve assumed they were the same here, but I see they have different titles. Anyone know the scoop on what pay is? Just saw email about instructors and LCA openings. How much more an hour override do we get?
