While we are waiting on a counter offer, our health insurance cost went up.
Just ready to see some balance. I’d love to see a TA come out that didn’t insult my intelligence.

But we just got the 61 cent, <1% cost of living increase in april... piedmont = killing it!

Was this a planned increase? How much did it go up?

I was referring to the health insurance cost going up. I’m familiar, however, with the yearly COLA bumps. I wouldn’t call them raises as much as they’re just intended to keep up with inflation.

They will not increase flow. They may say that when the number of pilots on the list at its highest point cannot affect the flow if that number decreases which was agreed to in negotiations. If they want to play ot out in courts they will lose. Don't fall for it if the NC is reading this.

If there’s no flow increase the union shouldn’t approve the pay rates at this time. It can keep sending back counter proposals until an agreement on a flow increase as well as other QOL increases is reached along with pay. The company realizes it has about 90 days to increase pay after the PSA pay raise before the applicant pool dries up entirely. The clock is ticking which is why it came back with a counter offer so quickly.

They won't send back more than 1 or 2 counters.

Or what.. we are shrinking about 15 line pilots a month right now.. merge with envoy? Every flight department manager, dispatch, EL, SK, PJ etc will all be out of jobs.

Interesting times ahead.. I'm interested to see what will happen..
