I'm going to say something that won't be a popular opinion but I'd be willing to bet it's accuracy.

1: Take the money
2. It is possible to get a cpl extra hotel nights if the company decides to respond to the offer your NC made at a session that was just about pay. Prob a good move.
3. Schedules, they will not improve until you're flying larger stage lengths. Your schedule comm has access to everything and if they can't improve them as they are now you're SOL.
4. If the pay raises are not accepted 1 of 2 things will happen. First is a merger with Envoy which would increase flow times for everyone and you'll be at current pay til a joint list and cba are concluded. Prob 2 year process. Second and I consider most likely is without the staffing increasing but decreasing bc of the pay, pdt will transfer aircraft to a 3rd party airline or airlines until the operation no longer makes sense. That is the least expensive and less headache for AAG option thus the most likely outcome

Again just my educated opinion.

I'll bite..
1.. the money.. sure money is great.. but the pay rates are pathetic compared to psa..

2...hotel rooms.. meh.. not everyone is a commuter..

3.. ofcourse schedules won't improve but a true min day credit and trip and duty rig so that we credit 20 to 25 hours a four day is needed.

4.. envoy merger is not happening at anytime, and their pay negotiations are just as sloppy as our thought now

Although numbers are decreasing we have been gaining 460 liine pilots consistently. .I don't see that changing..

Another operation taking 145s back? Enjoy can't, they are maxed especially with the 175 deliveries. TSA? They can't handle the flying they had and lost a lot of the flying. There are no other 145 operators left that i can think of.

Wr aal have our own opinions but I think wr have very firm ground here.

That being said something is up on sby..

Who knows, we will probably end up with PSA blended 200 rates.

That’s just it. I agree the current schedules are crap and can’t change. BUT, PDT could pay us better for them with trip/duty rigs.

It isn’t our fault the flying sucks, it’s AAG’s. If they don’t want to pay us well for flying all the crap, then trade our routes with PSA, or ENY. Give them some of the bottom of the barrel routes that we take, AND still out perform the other WO’s.

They want planes with first class on those routes. That’s why we fly to places like Bangor in the winter, when no one wants to go. And RAH gets it in the summer when the execs are going to their summer homes. So pay us more, I agree. I don’t really care where I fly.

I always hear guys say AWAC had much better schedules flying our same routes, so why are we cool with inefficient pairings? I ask out of curiosity, because I truly have never seen their schedules and don’t know if there is any truth to this.

It’s probably hard to optimize schedules with a white board.

With today’s permanent bid I added up all those names. Got 735. There are clearly 13 new names in PHL FOs which is where they put the new hires. So accounting for the April New Hires there was a net add of one to the Seniority list. April was a No AA Flow month.

Did we really lose 12 people to outside attrition or am I missing something?

Would be nice if they updated the Seniority list....
