That's a pretty good point. Piedmont could go under tomorrow, but AAG probably has a big interesting in retaining the 600 in-house regional pilots this flight department employs.

We're more valuable to AAG than the Piedmont packaging we come in.

Piedmont Airlines better get serious about paying and attracting new pilots. Every new kid I know heading to the regionals wants Republic, Endeavour or PSA. How long is Piedmont going to screw around and lose people because of poor scheduling and pay?

Unfortunately we have some unique personalities right now. Some people think the squeaky wheel gets the lube job... unless it's egregious or negligence, always pro standards first. You can even talk to pro standards without using names. Pro standards chairman has a ton of airline experience and a great person. He is very cool to talk too.

Ive been lucky at PDT that almost everything has been sorted out with the door closed or overnight briefing briefing. We all can't be friends but we can be professional for 4 days.

I mean, what else is BF gonna do while collecting his money from us? When’s the last time he even touched a plane or actually been here to see how our QOL is? There should have been much quicker action and a real push to get results. Who cares if we get the same pay per hour as PSA? They will still be making the same and working 4 days less each month. I hope something really good is in the works or this place needs a union shakedown with new representation at the top. It seems like their main priority lies in 2 main areas. 1, the retirement thing that’s been dragging on forever and 2, catering to the company and not the pilot group. I’ve lost a lot of hope and trust after that last TA...

The bridge program is in the arbitrator’s hands. It’s not something that the union is actively messing with besides waiting for the arbitrator to issue his determination. Let’s say all we get is PSA pay rates. Pilots will either not come here or those that are here will continue to leave. We will be back at the table in 8-12 months negotiating all over again.

Let’s hope it doesn’t take that long this time. Also curious to see how Envoy responds, and when.

I was waiting to see a huge list of guys in the 'Departures' section of this last PDT monthly. Everyone has heard that 20-30 FO's have left for Frontier, and that's what caused the upgrade class cancellations, uptick in FO junior manning, and FO Triple. But I count two departures on top of flows for last month. What am I missing? I don't think guys just putting in notice would have cause all that.

Does that include people on probation?

Another thought is maybe more interviewed and got hired but are not giving notice until a scheduled class date at Frontier gets closer. But 1500% BS is very plausible.
