I saw someone post on the Envoy page that we are allowed to jumpseat international on AA or wholly owned metal, is this true?

Yes, rode up front back and forth to the islands many times. Most overseas flights have a relief pilot, so cockpit is full.

I don’t think any DEC came to Piedmont to stay any longer then they have to.

You mean that bonus they're gonna have to pay a lot of back? Yeah...

Anyway, anyone read the new info on DCA? I get where the company is coming from, but having us fly a departure profile we literally never fly (not even in the sim) for the first time while also navigating DCA seems.... interesting. I can smell this from a mile away... gonna throw a wrench in things for new guys

Payback? Ha, maybe! I think there was a big thing a while back about how these never stand up in court. Who knows, I ain’t smart enough to be a lawyer.

Yeah, DCA will be interesting for many. Luckily, we have dash folk like me and many others who did DCA often. Also, we have a lot of guys from other airlines here now like AW that have plenty of experience being based there. Yes, we have to brief these well and make sure each person in the cockpit is on the same page. It’s really not hard, but you have to be careful. The hard part for me will be the new commuter world. I was in DCA a few weeks ago and saw the new construction. Will be better than the 35X days with the van! Almost charlottesque now. Ha
