Hahahaha yeah because shuttering PDT would make a lot of sense for AAG. I’m in no way saying anyone should EVER choose a regional solely because of a flow and they shouldn’t wait for it if they can help it, but to say PDT “won’t be around” is preposterous.
It will exist...in some form. I am losing confidence in our union, however, and their vague daily emails are borderline annoying. Maybe they’re under an NDA and we’re not aware of it, but I hope they don’t make a move that will further screw the pilot group at Envoy more than the PSA sell-out has.

I doubt the 7000 employee ground operation part of Piedmont is going anywhere. Too much whipsaw savings for AAG on that side of the balance sheet. Speculate away on the pilot side.

I guess I’m confused by the logic of the whole, “PSA ALPA MEC screwed us!” line of thought.

Company comes to PSA MEC, “we want to talk to you about something, but you have to sign an NDA before we do”.

PSA MEC, “uhhh okay we’ll hear you out”

PSA MEC signs NDA. Company tells them, “we want to give you industry-leading pay. If you say yes, good. If you say no, you still signed an NDA so you still can’t talk about it.”

Honestly, what would you expect them to do? Turn down money for giving up literally nothing in return? How is that lowering the bar in any way? If anything it strengthens your own negotiating position immensely. We are fortunate that our ALPA leadership and our leadership at PSA have a good working relationship. There is no toxicity. And we have people in management who are 100% for the pilot group and genuinely fight for us. Maybe that is the difference between PSA and the other WOs...

Thanks for your input.

What are the recruiters selling? The best flow. Not anymore. Potential new hires should know what managements intent is if that’s what they’re coming here for. Enjoy F9.

“Flow can only increase, never decrease.”

That’s the unions take, not managements.

That language does not exist. If I remember correctly, there was one month where we THOUGHT we were going to 6 flows for the first time, but then the letter from the company only said 5, so someone asked chief pilot MS who replied that we had only temporarily gone above 725 but went back below it. That email was then shared to one of our Facebook groups.
