PDT may get RJs above 50 seat but the best guess on that happening is 7-8 years when the 145s time out, or whenever PDT is merged with another WO (which according to some folks in the union involved in planning for that contingency, may happen within the next 3 years).

Either way PDT lags light years behind PSA in pay and QOL. With flow for New Hires approaching 10 years at PDT, and PSA sharing the same bases, long term one is better off going to PSA.
Oh no no, BF’s relationship with a few senior Mngmt at AAG will save us. We are safe and have no need to worry much less plan for a shutdown or merger. All nonsense aside, even a match of pay isn’t enough. We are so behind with everything else that I would still leave if I got a call.

Why this airline continues to schedule it's pilots on four day trips that fly around 16 hrs of hard time is baffling. Especially paying for hotels 3 nights. No wonder you don't ever get ahead of staffing issues. Look at Southwest and how they work. It's not that hard to schedule more efficiently.

Wonder how the recruiting team is doing Florida this weekend with the news dropping. How many questions about PSA pay will they be dealing with... if people show up to the booth.

They have a sweet inflatable 145 flying on clouds outside the hangar. Also according to the announcer we have quite a few bases... ROA, MDT, PHL, CLT, that’s all I could hear over the prop noise of Soucy’s Piedmont Showcat.

I hope those liars get hammered. I know they are just playing the game the way they are told, but it’s borderline criminal what they are promising. Some of these kids think they’ll be widebody captains in 8 years from DOH at piedmont.... you’ve got to be ignorant to believe that, but the recruiters shouldn’t be saying it either

No one being hired right now intending to flow is going to be a widebody CA.

Just a heads up to all potential new hires: management plans on reducing flow as the pilot group shrinks.....

This place needs more than just pay. A lot more than just pay.

All you guys and your silly flow talk. Piedmont won’t be around long enough for half the pilot group to ever see a flow.
