Either way, the point was that PDTs union leadership had the opportunity to push for their increased career advancement for their pilot after the other two WO unions set the precedent and dropped the ball and instead delivered an awful TA riddled with concessions in exchange for a 2% CA only pay raise (ending at the 12 year rate) that ultimately got shot down by the pilot group.

Moving on,




The most promising part of the PSA pay increase is restoration of the pay scale beyond 12 years for the senior guys. BF and the Union should really be motivated to make the senior pilots whole financially (after the massive pay cut they took from transitioning from the Dash) for their final years before retirement.

BF needs to be recalled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How the hell does he sit there and let us pay his salary and we end up with this type of treatment. He sends an email saying he just heard of this crap. That’s bs, he’s a company man that doing what he’s supposed to. He’s a disgrace to our union and our airline. He ought to be flying the line like the rest of us. Oh wait... he can’t pass training. We need answers on why we do not already have these pay raises. Our MEC needs to b in SBY getting our raises TODAY!!!! Not tomorrow or when it’s convenient for BF to get off his daily vacation. NOW!!!!

The way I understand it, BF works for the elected MEC reps. Your anger seems misdirected. Call them, BF “works” for them and in turn us. Who would replace BF? Also, now would be a good time to let that open time flying pile up a little.

Unfortunately, any pay raise will not retain captains near flow. Piedmont better quickly get raises to attract new pilots. Or those captains will not have first officers. The raise better top PSA s as well, as Piedmont is way behind. The biggest danger remains Frontier and Spirit poaching pilots. American should return the favor and hire as many Frontier pilots as it can. The legacies are really going into the hiring mode.

Having this “surprise” email from the union is utter bull. They knew. How could they not? I don’t know what is worse. Their inability to communicate with other MECs or lying to the pilot group. Either way inexcusable.

On a side note. Having the other WO making more $$$ for the same lift makes me feel very homesick, and I personally will not work any more OT because I’m going to spend some time with my family until this mess gets sorted out. You do what suits you. But for me. No raise no extra help
