The only thing I found more distasteful than the APC mockery from that whole situation was folks passing around of the text of one of the redacted ASAPs from the incident to get their jollies.

Hope it all works out for you all. Sucks being the read headed step child of the WO’s. The crap starts at the bottom, and you all will suffer until PSA and Envoy start seeing the mass exodus. I wish new hires could see past the misinformation that the recruiters are dumping on them. It’s only gonna create a scenario of people taking bonuses, staying for a year and getting the hell out. Good luck trying to recoup those paid bonuses. Has any airline even been able to legally have action taken against those who don’t? It may black flag you from the other AA WO’s, but that’s even a worst case scenario.

How could they know whose who? Some are obvious but others are far from it. Plus that would involve brain power on their end. This is piedmont!!

Yes, you all need to shut up, and this thing will continue just as it always does.
Seriously, all it would take is a 5 HR min day. Piedmont would either pay soft time or adjust into a more efficient airline . They would be forced to be efficient and they would need fewer pilots. Your training pilots could get a break. Line pilots would actually lift the issue off the training departments back.
Incredibly, it doesn't seem to be on anyone's top list of issues. A reasonable time to implement this. 3 months max. Additionally, you need 1 day trips to be available out there as a filler for additional pick up. This will stop some of the junior manning. Scheduling could build them in advance for bid, some could be daily created to stop junior manning, which destroys morale. One day trips bring manpower out off the woodwork as they easily allow adjustments, and additional pay opportunities for those who want them.
Good luck.

It will once you all (if) you all start to suffer like we are. Not saying it will happen. Nothing gets changed here until AA suffers staffing the other WOs.
