Piedmont Airlines News & Rumors

That is fine to want..... But to violate a contract (change an agreement) to make it a reality is a little disconcerting to be honest. A slippery slope the more You think about it. An LOA is a contract, an agreement, you shouldn’t be able to change it willy nilly. If they really wanted it, then they should have put it in a contract that was agreed upon.
If AAG gets away with this, who is to stop them from adding 3 year CA requirement? Heck, why not 5 years? Why not Check Airmen? Why not a 4 year degree too? Why not a Masters? Where does it stop?
Then the flow we have and agreed to in a contract, is no longer the flow we agreed to, and put up with our bottom tier pay for the “light at the end of the tunnel” was all for not. Your chances will be better with just an application and a better paying regional.
I don’t know what PSA or Envoys contract looked like, but sounds like those union dues need to be put to use and lawyer up.

Be careful saying something like that. Someone is likely to show up and accuse you of wanting to see BL suffer some horrible fate because you dared voice displeasure at how awful our schedules are.

Hahaha the BL Militia will hunt you down. You be thankful for what he provides! Don’t you dare speak out against everything he does (11 day off schedules are hard to get)!!

I wonder when our line pilots will start to realize the schedules are a byproduct of our flying that American gives us and not the way we sort the pairings...
It’s nothing new, but these schedules are a ton better than last March.

My buddies in the training dept had flysooner made early on. They knew how he talked here even before getting to class.
As much as they were looking forward to a lackluster performance, he did well in training and has earned his opinion on here. He is one of us now. He has been trying to get on at the usual places recently though. So he may not be with us too long
Good for him if he bounces. Wouldn’t be the first DEC that got a little resume bump and took off

He's always been welcome to give his opinion here, as far as I'm concerned. A good (or bad) argument is a good (or bad) argument regardless of who's reciting it.
That being said, getting through training hasn't made him any less of a tool.

I mean, in fairness, there were only like 20 lines of 11 days off this month. Majority are 12+.
