16 new hires for a overall gain of -1.
PDT now appears to be shrinking after the failed TA.

I don’t think they care. I think they want 600 pilots and 60 airplanes. It just sucks we’re going to lose our 6th flowee

- One of the new hires that was in the 10/8 Indoc was on the list from last month, so only 15 new hires.
- We had six flow, and ten leave outside of the flow. Of those ten, all were 2017 or 2018 hires except for one. (That one went to AAL outside the flow.)
- It's negligible of course, but from a whole-list perspective, the top 50 pilots lost relative seniority

For the airline to to run 60 planes they need 800 pilots on property. This was a well known discussed number last year when they announced the continued growth.
Remember the announcement that they can slow hiring is a tactic to get us and the union to accept anything..
The slowing in hiring is completely due to lack of pilots coming..

Quote me the language in the contract where it says we can’t go back down to 5. Just because you don’t like the idea of something doesn’t make it untrue.
The company and the union aren’t negotiating anything so there’s no propaganda for the union to “accept”
